A 40ft Container Office built to impress!
We have built many container offices in our time, but this one could be used for many different applications. It was designed and constructed for Newcastle based business Hire Rite Temporary Fence, a leading temporary fencing supplier that have the capability to provide small and large scale fencing solutions to their customers. Their business is expanding and they needed an office for their new yard located in Sydney, ready for immediate use. A container office was the ideal solution for their needs.
It features a long list of custom modifications including an external ensuite with toilet and basin. Two sets of sliding glass doors lead inside the main area of the office which is fully insulated with air conditioning. Other additions include vinyl flooring, glass sliding windows, a custom built timber desk and kitchenette. There is also an internal partition wall and personnel door that closes off a private office area. Being a shipping container means it is wind, water and vermin proof.

The beauty of this design is that could be used for a number of other applications other than a 40 foot shipping container office. It would work perfectly as an accommodation unit or as a teenage retreat in your own backyard. Just add a bed and a wardrobe in the private bedroom, a couch and a dining table in the main area of the container and voilà – you have a temporary or permanent living space with a functional toilet and kitchenette!
