This custom built container cafe was constructed from a 20ft container, cut down to 4 metres to fit the footprint of the courtyard. Speaking with Juliana, she states the size of the container is perfect and that they can accommodate upto 5 people at a time serving customers and preparing food and drinks. The Chuffed Container Cafe featured three roll up servery windows which they services customers from two sides of the container. We collaborated with OC Interiors to do the final fit out, which turned out absolutely fantastic. Stand out features include the custom paintwork, display cabinets for pre-prepared food, custom shelving with tiled splashback, multiple sinks, air conditioning and more.

Juliana and Jaime operate a number of other successful cafes around Brisbane, but this is the first container cafe they’ve setup. When asked why they chose to use a container for their new establishment Juliana said that transportation was a big factor. If they choose to move to another site, all they need to do is organise a truck to relocate their business to the next destination.

Overall, the team at Chuffed Espresso seem extremely happy with their Container Cafe. They have a roaring trade with customers visiting at all time of the day, and it’s not hard to understand why due to serving fantastic food and exceptional coffee.
