Our client came to us requiring a custom built containerised accommodation unit that could be fixed to a truck and moved from site to site around the Upper Gascoyne area. It will accommodate staff for weeks at a time when working off site. This unit had some great features that we had not utilised in a container build before.

A Secure Containerised Accommodation Unit with loads of features
This unit needed to be built tough for when it’s on the road and secure when not in use. Both windows of this mobile accommodation container are constructed with steel frames and polycarbonate instead of glass for extra strength. They feature gas strutts that open to three different angles to allow ventilation, plus include retractable fly screen and block-out blinds. A full kitchenette with hot water system, stove top and rangehood was installed. The containerised accommodation unit also features a separate bathroom with shower, basin and cassette composting toilet. Being fully insulated with an air conditioning installed means this unit will be comfortable for its occupants all year round, no matter the external conditions.
Overall, this containerised accommodation unit can accommodate up to two people comfortably. This is a unique design which has some specific inclusions requested by the customer, though we can swap out any of the accessories to suit your needs such as glass sliding doors or standard windows. A 40ft unit with internal partitions and doors could be utilised if you would need more rooms, or multiple containers joined together with our joining kits would increase your floor space.
