Pacific Shipping Container Accommodation
Shipping Container Accommodation – The Pacific
The Pacific shipping container accommodation is perfect for industries like mining, energy and construction that need high quality accommodation for their staff. It offers a compact combination of kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room all in a neat 20 foot container. And though it’s relatively small (especially compared to our larger Longbeach container), it’s still remarkably spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning (optional), insulation, and sliding aluminium windows help provide a living space that workers can relax in.
Of course one of the major benefits of The Pacific is how easily it can be transported between sites – always a major consideration. It also has all the connections required to arrange power and water quickly and easily. If you need compact and efficient portable accommodation, at a compact price, a Port Shipping Containers’ Pacific container is for you.

Need Something a Little Larger? Only Need Sleeping Quarters?
Our Pacific shipping container accommodation design is built from a 20 foot shipping container. A larger version, the 40 foot ‘Longbeach’ design, is similar to the Pacific but is in a different configuration to suit its extra space. It is also completely self-contained with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area, with added storage room as well. Don’t need self-contained facilities? Our Station and Kakadu containers provide sleeping quarters for between 6 and 8 people – perfect for sites where accommodation is used just for sleeping between shifts.
Customise to Your Specifications
Our pre-designed shipping container accommodation is functional and practical, but if you have your own ideas, feel free to give us a call. There are many ways that a shipping container can be converted, and we are happy to work with you to come up with a unique solution to your needs. Whether you would like to simply add an accessory, or design something completely new, we can arrange everything for you.
Keep Your Workers Happy
Housing is an important part of worker satisfaction, and whilst many workers are used to sharing their accommodation quarters, most would prefer not to. And no matter how amenable and easygoing a person is, friction nearly always arises – and usually over the smallest things. In FIFO situations, workers definitely need space to themselves. And these days, a kitchen and bathroom is pretty much a standard expectation for many workers.
The Pacific is Perfect for Residential Solutions Too
Family expanding, but you don’t want to move? Teenagers moving out…then moving back in again, just when you got your study organised? Want an elderly parent to live with you, but they insist they like their independence? If you’ve been thinking about extending or building, The Pacific may be a terrific alternative to expensive renovations or additions. Completely self-contained and really cost effective, it’s definitely something you should look into.
Or Use for Unique Tourist and Home Stay Accommodation
If you have room , then consider adding some accommodation for extra income. A container like the Pacific would be perfect for tourist and home stay students. It’s also ideal for wwoofer accommodation, or even housesitters to use during the handover period. There are many ways our Pacific container can be of use to you.
