Lubrication Station
Port Containers designed and constructed this Lubrication Station for onsite service of mine site trucks and heavy vehicles. Lube Stations are used to pump lubricating oils including engine and hydraulic oils directly into vehicles that pull up outside. We designed this unit using three 20ft high cube containers, one of which had side opening doors for easy access to the pneumatic pumps. These pumps will sit on top of the lubricant tanks that will be installed on site. All three containers were joined together with internal doors cut into the side walls, and will be used for not only storing and operating the oil pumps but also as a workshop with plenty of storage space. Featuring insulated walls, air vents and whirlybirds to decrease the heat inside the containers, the Lube Station also had a central roller door installed and an electrical fit out.

Workshop Modification
One of our standard workshop designs, with a few added extras! Port Containers were contacted by Hydratight, a global provider of onsite machining tools, equipment and personnel, to build them a modified shipping container. They service multiple clients and work scopes around Australia and required the container to be fitted out as a mobile servicing, testing and calibration workshop for onsite operations and support.

Live Fire Training Unit
This 'Mod of the Month' consisted of three modified 20ft shipping containers, joined together to create a training facility built for the Rural Fire Service. Labelled as 'The Hot House' they intend to use this unit to train there staff with 'Live' fire scenarios as there is a large fire pit built into the lower level. With multiple entry points including access hatches built into the web-forge platforms on the roof, windows with shutters, internal & external staircases and heavy duty doors. The interior and exterior surfaces are coated in heat proof paint in jet black for low visibility training.
