We love meeting a challenge, so coming up with a clever and efficient way to provide toilets in remote areas was something we were willing to take on. This was definitely an important project that needed to be tackled. (If you’ve ever had to work remotely for a period of time, you’ll know why.) So we’re proud to say that we’ve come up with a beauty – a completely portable ablution block that can be used just about anywhere, no running water or power required.

Solar Powered, 2000 Litre Tank

The unit is solar powered, with a battery that can run the unit continuously for three hours. Or you can upgrade the battery for six hours continuous No running water, no electricity, no toilets – actually, scratch that. The remote ablution block also has a timed power switch that can be set to turn off after at a particular time to conserve energy. A 2000 litre tank and pump supplies a washbasin and two cubicals, one with a toilet and the other with a urinal. Fully hygienic, completely transportable, no power or water needed – this is one worksite solution that’s definitely worth investing in.
