We custom built this Container Kitchen Cafe for AFL Cairns, to facilitate customers during AFL matches at Cazalys Stadium. Our Container Kitchen Cafes are designed to have an area to prepare and cook food at one end of the container, but also have the ability to serve customers from the other end. These units can comfortably facilitate 3 to 4 staff operating the kitchen cafe at any time, plus has plenty of storage capacity for produce to service their clientelle.

Why build a permanent kitchen cafe when you can containerise it!
Our client needed a suitable solution for their catering needs, but had restrictions due to stadium access and a slim budget for the kitchen cafe, which ruled out a permanent building as an option. They decided on a container kitchen cafe after seeing our options on our website, and we were able to design and construct a solution to suit their budget. The Stadium Container Kitchen Cafe had a large list of features including plenty of bench spce for food preparation, Industrial hotplate and gas cooker, commercial rangehood, double sink with hot water system and more. This unit also needed to be built tough for when it’s both in use and not in use, so using a container as the kitchens structure ensured this.

Overall, this Container Kitchen Cafe is built to serve a steady flow of customers. With the space to have staff cooking and serving inside the unit separately makes this an ideal option for a modest budget. This is a unique design which has some specific inclusions requested by the customer, though we can swap out any of the accessories to suit your needs such as deep fryers or more refrigerated equipment. A 40ft unit with internal partitions and doors could be utilised if you would need more space, or multiple awnings with servery windows to service more customers.
