Custom Built Container Lab with Gantry System
We were contracted by a well know Energy Company to develop and construct an oil testing container lab with gantry system. The 20ft container was partitioned into two areas, a drum loading area and a working laboratory area. The loading area was fully insulated and featured a custom built gantry setup on rails on the ceiling. The gantry arm slides outside the container and can easily lift the oil drum with the attached electric winch. Once pulled back into the container a sample can be extracted and then analysed in the working laboratory area.

Container Lab with Gantry System Features
The gantry area of this Container Lab had checkerplate flooring installed on the container doors and floor to prevent any damage when loading the drums inside. An electrical fitout was also installed to power the winch and overhead lighting. The working laboratory area was also fully insulated with plenty of power and data outlets installed throughout. A heavy duty workbench was installed to hold all the testing equipment required plus a split system air conditioner was mounted on the wall to keep the area cool. The Container Lab with Gantry will be used initially as a testing laboratory in Australia and later shipped internationally to be used on various projects.
