Custom Built Container Laboratory for Water Testing
Coliban Water entrusted us to design and build a cost effective Container Laboratory for Water Testing at their Bendigo, Victoria site. This 20ft container was meticulously customised to meet their precise requirements, featuring abundant stainless steel countertops and ample underbench storage in the workspace. To support the diverse array of analytical equipment, we strategically placed multiple power outlets above the workbenches. Given the crucial need for cleanliness and the risk of airborne contaminants, we installed four electric exhaust fans in the roof, which work in tandem with two solar-powered whirlybirds to ensure optimal ventilation. Additionally, we laid commercial-grade coved vinyl flooring, making it easy to maintain a pristine environment.

A Container Laboratory with Security in mind
Unlike our personnel access doors found in our standard builds, this unit features a robust heavy-duty steel door crafted from container profile instead of the usual PA door. This design choice ensures that all equipment within this Container Laboratory remains safe and secure when not in use. Additionally, the unit is fully insulated with 50mm EPS panels and equipped with a 2.6kW Split System Air Conditioner to maintain an optimal internal temperature and ensuring a comfortable climate all year round. To maximize storage space within the laboratory, the A/C condenser is strategically mounted outside the unit.
