Connected by a Joining Kit, these two containers create a 60ft Switch Room! Port Containers were contracted by Brightwater to build a 60ft (20m) Switch room Container. Brightwater is an industrial engineering solutions provider to Australasia’s Resources, Industrial Energy, Quarry & Minerals and Wood & Forestry sectors.

This 'Mod of the Month' consists of a modified 20ft and 10ft shipping container with joining kit to create a facility built specially for Fire Training. Intended to create more of a 'live' fire scenario in order to train staff more effectively. There are multiple entry points including access hatches built into the web-forge platforms on the roof, internal & external staircases and heavy duty doors. The outside is equipped with a smoke machine entry point, a simulation meter box and bollards for harness equipment. The roof is in two parts, one part tin and one part tile. The interior and exterior surfaces are coated in fire proof paint in jet black for low visibility training.

Port Containers have always built custom workshops for its customers for a number of different applications. This one particularly is something special, a 20ft workshop made to service drone equipment - those remote controlled flying aircrafts that are found in toys shops to expensive commercial drones used to take photos high in the sky. This Modified Container was built out of a 20ft Side Opening High Cube which was lined with insulated panelling. It featured a heavy duty workbench with stainless steel top, pegboard and overhead & under bench storage for parts and accessories. It also had a 350L Flame Locker for hazardous goods like petrol and other flammables.

Port Containers recently designed and constructed a 12m shipping container cafe for a popular Holiday Park in Western Australia. Built from a fully insulated 40ft High Cube, this container cafe is packed full of features including a Hardwood Servery Window Façade (Including Removable Timber Bench/Bar), a Lockable Light Weight Gas Strut Operated Awning, Glass Stacking/Sliding Doors, Recessed & Retractable Cassette Electric Awning, Double Sink and Hand Basin Combo with Stainless Servery Bench, Continuous Electric Hot Water System and Plumbing, 4 Door Stainless Under Bench Fridge and Split System Air Conditioner. It also featured a Fixed Hardwood Table that would comfortably seat 20 customers inside the cafe, plus seating outside. The Brass Pendant Lights give the cafe a real rustic feel matched with the varnished timber and bold red splash back of the kitchen food preparation area.

Port Containers designed and constructed this 40ft Container Canteen for Blacktown City Council. Built from a new 40ft High Cube Container, the canteen featured a flush fit personnel door that lead into a partitioned storage area for food stock, a servery window with security grill, a remote controlled roller door for servery window, a kitchenette with additional stainless steel basin, hot water system and an 'L' shaped serving / preparation bench.
